We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Architect to join our team in Phoenix. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of architectural projects, assisting in the design and development of innovative structures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior architects and other team members. This role involves participating in project meetings, refining design concepts, and producing detailed architectural plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:
Assist in the creation of architectural designs, from initial concepts to detailed drawings. Work with senior architects to refine ideas and ensure that all designs meet the project requirements and client expectations.
Technical Drafting:
Produce detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software. Ensure that all technical specifications are accurate and align with industry standards.
Project Collaboration:
Work closely with other architects, engineers, and designers to develop cohesive design solutions. Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on design direction and project progress.
Research and Material Selection:
Conduct research on building materials, construction methods, and design trends. Assist in selecting appropriate materials and finishes that meet the project's aesthetic and functional requirements.
Client Interaction:
Occasionally participate in client meetings to present design concepts and gather feedback. Ensure that client needs and preferences are incorporated into the design process.
Site Visits and Documentation:
Assist in conducting site visits to gather information and assess project progress. Document site conditions and ensure that designs are being implemented according to plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other design tools.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
Basic understanding of building codes and regulations.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
